This Original 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow & White Two-Tone Gold Ring is set with a 3.5ct 10x8mm Emerald Scissor Cut Ruby with the most Lustrous DEEP RED COLOR and Fantastic Clarity. This ruby is an Emerald Cut that is beautifully faceted. An Emerald Cut is an octagonal step cut with the corners cut at 45 degrees to protect them from damage. The side bevels of the ruby are also beautifully scissor cut. The gemstone tests as a ruby on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby. The gemstone has not been removed from the setting for testing so we cannot say it is a natural ruby as it is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby.
