The Zodiac Watch Co. of Switzerland has long been a sought-after watch amongst collectors, especially those who appreciate vintage sport and diving watches. The Zodiac name was used very early on but was not registered until 1908.The firm exhibited at the Basle Watch Show in 1949 with the Datagraphic, a calendar watch with moon phases and the Autographic, a self-winding model with visible power reserve indicator that was the official watch of the Swiss Federal Railways. By the late 1950s the Sea Wolf divers watch and Rotographic rotor automatic models would be introduced.
